*Now that the Steelers' have signed LaMarr Woodley to a well-deserved big-money deal, who stays and who goes? James Harrison has reached his sell-by date every which way he can. He gets cut after this season. Lawrence Timmons gets paid. But what about Troy Polamalu? Despite his excellence, injuries make extending him a risk. But would the Steelers let him walk?

* Everyone roots for Polamalu. Same with Aaron Smith. Exceptional players, exceptional men. But what's their over/under for games played this year?

* If Willie Colon stays healthy, he'll be the All-Pro right tackle.

* Hines Ward danced with the stars, delaying surgery to do so. He still hasn't practiced. But he (and a dozen teammates) showed up at Heinz Field early Saturday morning to play bit parts in the new "Batman" movie. Is Ward's heart in football, or in Hollywood? And isn't leaving camp to shoot a movie a bit over-the-top for all concerned, especially after the lockout cancelled mini-camps and OTAs? What would Chuck Noll have done?"
