"Sometimes after he drops a pass to Kevin Garnett in the post, Ray Allen will just stand there on the wing and see what Garnett will do with it.
Allen knows Garnett would rather pass the ball than hog it, but if Garnett is down low with a chance to do damage, Allen wants him to be a little greedy. The last thing he wants is for Garnett to pass it back. So he just stands there.
"Sometimes, if you cut, he's going to pass it,'' Allen said. "So sometimes, you just stand there like, 'You've got to go to work.' ''"
