"Tracy McGrady seems to have an opinion on every subject.
So it's no surprise that he would have something to say about the news this week that the NBA labor union was seeking to end the league's rule against high school players jumping to the NBA, through the collective bargaining process.
"I'm biased to that, so you know my opinion is based on me agreeing with what the union is trying to do," McGrady said before the Pistons' morning shoot-around Friday at the Target Center. "They never should have changed it."
This news strikes home with McGrady, 31, because he was drafted by the Toronto Raptors in 1997 after establishing himself as the No. 1 high school player in the country."
