Charlie Villanueva has been much maligned since his arrival in 2009.

But since he's been out, serving a suspension from a 2010-11 late-season altercation, the Pistons have severely missed his presence.

The Pistons were without Villanueva again Friday against the Celtics, but welcome him back tonight against the Pacers.

Still, Pistons coach Lawrence Frank doesn't want to look at Villanueva as the magic elixir to the team's ills.

"We have to do better," Frank said of his team's 0-2 start. "You never can rely on one person. We have enough with what we have."
