A short memory can be a player's best friend and his worst enemy.

For Pistons guard Brandon Knight, he tries to take the best of both worlds. In fact, he's using it to practice his intangibles because he's got the "following up a bad game with a good game" down pat.

He followed up his worst game of the summer league Wednesday — he didn't play with much poise — with a 19-point, 14-assist outing Thursday in a 93-79 victory over the Celtics.

"I forgot about yesterday already," Knight insisted before rattling off aspects of the game where he clearly made adjustments from Wednesday.
