Pistons guard Brandon Jennings could be on his way back to action as early as Sunday night against the Celtics.

With Rodney Stuckey making his season debut against the Memphis Grizzlies after breaking the tip of his right thumb, Jennings could be right behind him, as he recovers from a fractured jaw and impacted wisdom tooth.

Stuckey won’t start against the Grizzlies but it’s unknown if Jennings, who was wearing a Richard Hamilton-like mask at Friday’s shootaround while going through shooting drills with the coaching staff, will be inserted into the starting lineup as soon as he returns.
