Paul Pierce expressed his disappointment on what has been a roller-coaster ride of a season following the C's 103-88 loss to Detroit.

Boston's third loss in a row dropped the Celtics back to the .500 mark at 20-20.

Pierce, the Celtics' captain, said the loss kind of summed up the Celtics' inconsistent season so far.

"We are regressing back to our old ways," he said. "Being inconsistent. Taking quarters off."

Pierce went on to say that "it's on everyone of us as individuals to do a better job."
