Suns center Miles Plumlee will play in All-Star weekend's Rising Stars Challenge as an injury replacement for Atlanta's Pero Antic.

The Feb. 14 game in New Orleans features nine second-year players and nine rookies. Grant Hill and Chris Webber drafted teams, putting Plumlee on Hill's team in Antic's spot. His brother, rookie Mason Plumlee of Brooklyn, is on Webber's team.

Plumlee, 25, is averaging 9.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks this season in his first season as a starter. Plumlee logged 55 minutes last season as a rookie with Indiana, who traded him in the offseason to Phoenix with Gerald Green and a first-round pick for Luis Scola.
