Another former Tiger has found a new home.

A day after Ryan Raburn signed a minor-league contract with the Cleveland Indians, the Philadelphia Phillies added Delmon Young with a one-year, $750,000 deal.

In Victor Martinez's injury-related absence, Young, 27, was the Tigers' designated hitter in 2012. He batted .267 with 18 home runs and 74 RBI, but excelled in the postseason with three home runs, seven RBI and a .359 batting average.

With Martinez returning this season, however, and with the Tigers not considering Young to be a viable corner-outfield candidate, they chose not to re-sign him when he became a free agent following last season.
