"Peter Forsberg was back at his old position of center today at Avalanche practice.

With Avs youngster Matt Duchene absent the practice for a "maintenance day", Forsberg centered a line with Milan Hejduk and Chris Stewart, and seemed to look quicker and more comfortable on skates than he did on Wednesday.

Forsberg, 37, continues practicing with the Avs, trying to determine if he can make a successful return to the NHL after nearly three years out of the league.

Afterward, Forsberg called it a good day, but said that he still hasn't decided yet."
