Amidst all the high-profile potential star power on the ice in Edmonton this season, it's none other than Leon Draisaitl who's making team history.

The Oilers' 20-year-old forward has been on an incredible run since being recalled from the AHL in late October, filling in admirably for an injured Connor McDavid. Draisaitl has been regularly putting on a show with his linemate Taylor Hall, including a beauty he scored with Hall's help on Friday.

In addition to his goal, Draisaitl added two assists in Friday's win over New Jersey, giving him seven goals and ten helpers on the season. As a result, he became the first Edmonton player to record 17 points in his first 10 games of a season since Mark Messier did so in 1989, according to Elias Sports.
