For the third time in seven games, a batted ball got the better of Phillies right-fielder Hunter Pence.

Last Sunday in San Diego, he misjudged Chase Headley's flyball, which soared over him for an RBI double in the Padres' 6-1 triumph.

Friday night at Citizens Bank Park, Pence attempted to make a sliding catch of a two-out hit by Reed Johnson. It bounded past Pence for an RBI triple in the Cubs' 5-1 win.

"The ball can't get by you," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said afterward.
