"Peja Stojakovic is expected to make his Mavericks debut Monday night, but it's unlikely his unveiling will look anything like his eventual role.

Most everybody expects Stojakovic to be the starter at small forward once he gets acclimated to the Mavericks' system.

For now, it's expected that he will be coming off the bench since he hasn't played since late November and is recovering from a left knee problem.

Stojakovic's entry into the rotation is the first step of a transition for the Mavericks, who have won eight games in a row. When Roddy Beaubois is ready to play for the first time this season, the process will continue."
