Not far from Paul George’s new front door and all the fishing gear that was strewn throughout his three-story abode, the empty casings of at least a half-dozen big-screen televisions were a clear giveaway that he’s new in these parts. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s newest star is still unpacking, and still processing this move from the Indiana Pacers that came after so many months of uncertainty and uncomfortableness about his future.

Above all else, there’s the joy that comes with joining Russell Westbrook and (surprise!) Carmelo Anthony while preparing for the chance at a title that he was pursuing. But the four-time All-Star whose desire for a change of scenery inspired this move is still stinging from his Indiana exit, too.
