"For three years, wide receiver Wes Welker annoyed the heck out of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

Belichick, for all of his defensive wizardry, couldn't find a way to stop the pesky Welker, who spent 2004-06 with the Miami Dolphins.

So, Belichick came up with the best defense of all to stop Welker from terrorizing the Patriots: He traded for him."
