Twisting his ankle with 1:40 remaining in the first half, Spurs point guard Tony Parker said he had to battle pain through the entire second half of the Spurs’ 93-89 win over the Mavericks in Game 4 of a Western Conference first-round playoff series.

Afterwards, Parker declared that he was “okay,” though videotape of the play on which he was injured showed the ankle rolling badly.

“I’m okay,” Parker said. “I just twisted my ankle and had to battle that the whole second half.”

Parker, who scored 10 points on 5-of-14 shooting, was unsure if he would require an X-ray or MRI exam of the ankle.

Game 5 of the series, tied 2-2, is Wednesday night at AT&T Center.
