John Gibbons doesn’t like when his star players are targeted by the other teams’ pitchers.

During the bottom of the first inning of Sunday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays, starting pitcher Chris Archer threw a first-pitch fastball behind the back of slugger Jose Bautista.

Bautista stared Archer down on the mound after the throw while home plate umpire Jim Wolf issued a warning to both teams.
