"The Florida Panthers signed forward Tim Kennedy to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday.
"Tim is a young, skilled forward who we are pleased to have re-signed," said Panthers general manager Dale Tallon. "He has played for head coach Kevin Dineen in Portland and we look forward to Tim's continued development and growth within our organization."
Kennedy only participated in six NHL games last season, all with Florida, after being acquired from the New York Rangers on February 26, picking up one assist."
