"The Panthers continued their month-long roster facelift on Tuesday by signing defenseman Tyson Strachan to a two-way deal.

The deal has been reported on TSN to be $750,000 if he makes the Panthers or $150,000 if he goes to the Rampage.

Strachan was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the fifth round of the 2003 draft. He has six assists in 67 games in three seasons with the St. Louis Blues. He has a career plus-1 on-ice rating, but was minus-10 last year."
