Shockey is credited with helping save fellow tight Ben Hartshock from choking in the team's lunch room on Monday.

A piece of pork tenderloin lodged in Hartsock's throat and Shockey came to his rescue. Hartsock tried drinking water to clear his throat and when that didn't work it became a serious situation."
