Andre Miller plays basketball like it's the 15th round. With a boxer's resolve, the Nuggets point guard has battled shoulder pain while battling pesky point guards. In Friday's win at Charlotte, while still wearing a protective shoulder apparatus, Miller tallied nine assists in 25 minutes.

"Sometimes it looks like he's going to faint out there, the pain is so sharp," Nuggets coach George Karl said after the game. "He looks like a fighter who has kind of been stunned. He never asks to come out, always says he can play. I'm sure he'll be pretty sore tomorrow."

The veteran point guard also scored four points and finished plus-13, tying Corey Brewer for the highest plus-minus rating, in Denver's 99-88 win against the Bobcats.

Incredibly, Miller has missed only three games due to injury in his entire career.
