Carlos Santana laughed when the suggestion was made.
"If I can hit two home runs and a double every night, I might do it," said Santana.
Santana became the seventh Indians player to homer from both sides of the plate in one game in Tuesday's 10-4 loss to the Rangers. He hit homers in the fourth and eighth innings, the first right-handed, the second left-handed. Between homers, he doubled in the sixth.
It was during his sixth-inning at-bat that Santana fouled a ball off his left shin. He hit the ground hard and fast and stayed there for several minutes. He eventually stepped back into the batter's box and lined a double to left-center.
