All signs from early in practice today suggest that Matt Flynn will be the Packers’ quarterback this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During the portion of practice open to reporters today, the Packers ran one short team period, and Flynn took the starter’s reps, Scott Tolzien took the backup snaps and Aaron Rodgers took none. So it’s looking more and more like Rodgers is going to miss his seventh straight game because of his broken left collarbone.

Coach Mike McCarthy and Rodgers are scheduled to talk to reporters after practice, early this afternoon, so they might provide more information.

The Packers usually practice in pads on Thursdays but did not today.
