"Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is recovering from right ankle surgery and is expected to be out of his cast by Monday.

Curry hasn't been rumored in offseason trades with near the fervor of his backcourt mate Monta Ellis. General manager Larry Riley said he's fielding more calls about Curry but isn't having the same conversations.

"I always shift them off pretty quick, but we get a bunch of calls about Steph," Riley said. When asked to measure the calls about Curry and Ellis, Riley raised his hand to the sky.

Curry missed eight games last season and limped through a score more. In San Antonio his ankle simply gave out."
