The Orlando Magic struck quickly in free agency, agreeing to contract terms with veteran shooters Ben Gordon and Channing Frye early in the negotiating period and inking both players to contracts soon after the moratorium ended. Addressing the media Monday after the team formally signed Frye, general manager Rob Hennigan suggested that his front office has completed most of its offseason work.

"We always may have something up our sleeve, but I would think that this probably serves as the bulk of what we'll be doing this summer," said Hennigan. "I think we probably have a few other things to get done."

When one reporter pointed out that his newest pickups, Frye and Gordon, are seasoned veterans who balance Orlando's mostly young roster, Hennigan said, "I think you might be onto something there."
