"The Orioles announced several minor league signings Monday, including making official a deal with right-hander Armando Galarraga.

The club also announced that it agreed to minor league deals with catcher Ronny Paulino and reliever Pat Neshek. All three will receive invitations to spring training camp.

Galarraga, 30, was 3-4 with a 5.91 ERA in eight starts with the Arizona Diamondbacks last year. Originally signed as an amateur out of Venezuela in 1998 by Fred Ferreira, the Orioles' current executive director of international recruiting, Galarraga is best known for coming one out – and one blown call – from pitching a perfect game in 2010 as a Detroit Tiger."
