The agent of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has dismissed talk of a potential move to either Italian champions Juventus or AS Roma.

Instead, the Frenchman will meet with Gunners officials at the end of the current campaign to have talks over extending his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

So says Giroud's agent, Michael Manuello, who has declared rumours of a move to Serie A for the 19-goal striker as false.

"The rumours about Olivier [Giroud] are not surprising given that he is having a great season," explained Montpellier-based agent Manuello, speaking to Calciomercato.

"I read that we are talking about an interest from Juventus and Roma, but the truth is that there has been no contact with these clubs or with other ones."

Giroud has played a key role for Arsene Wenger's side in their title challenge this term, netting 13 goals in 29 Premier League appearances so far, after 11 in 34 during his debut campaign.

The 27-year-old cost just over £10.5million when he arrived in north London in 2012, and Manuello has revealed that Juventus held an interest in signing him before his arrival on English soil.
