Nash attended Game 2 to show his support for his old teammate and close friend Dirk Nowitzki, who came up with a performance for the ages to help the Mavericks claim the series-evening victory over the Heat.

It led to a meaningful celebration between the two friends in the Dallas locker room after the game. Here's a picture of the moment that Nash added to his Twitter account.

"Swish41 (Nowitzki) and I in the locker room after his big win last night," Nash tweeted. "I think he was on his 3rd cigarette…"

Earlier, Nowitzki had an eventful departure from the podium after addressing the media. The Dallas Morning News reported about him leaving the English-speaking media horde after the game."
