Guard Ron Leary wants a chance to compete for a starting job in the NFL.

That’s why he demanded a trade in the spring, sitting out voluntary organized team activities, and remains steadfast in his belief that he should get that opportunity.

“That feeling on my end hasn’t changed at all,” Leary said. “Right now, I’m just going to play football, but I still feel the same on that.”

Leary, 27, has had an impressive start to camp. He appears to be in midseason form, winning the majority of his battles against the D-linemen.
