According to freshman linebacker Kyle Berger, he's torn his ACL a second time.

Per the player himself, Ohio State freshman linebacker Kyle Berger has torn his ACL again. The same injury had cut his final season playing high school football short before it ever even began. Berger was projected by many as a potential redshirt as he continued to work his way back from that much in the same way J.T. Barrett sat out last season after suffering an injury in high school.

Berger, a 6'3 215-pound Cleveland St. Ignatius product, was a four-star coming out of Northeast Ohio. He was the 157th ranked player overall, the 10th best linebacker, and the fifth best player from the state of Ohio, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
