Offensive lineman Deuce Lutui won't start Sunday for Arizona Cardinals

"A piece, a very large piece, of the Cardinals usual starting lineup will be missing Sunday when the offense takes the field for the first time.

Guard Deuce Lutui will be standing on the sideline in uniform for the first time since midway through the 2006 season, his rookie year.

Rex Hadnot replaces Lutui, who had started 72 of the Cardinals previous 73 games at right guard. The only game he missed in that streak was the final one of 2007, which he sat out because of a knee injury.

"It's definitely going to be strange," Lutui said. "But I still trust the coaching staff here, I trust the decision, and I want the best players to play."

It's the continuation of an odd year for Lutui. When the lockout ended, he agreed to terms with the Bengals on a two-year deal worth $8 million, $5 million of which was payable this year."
