The Denver Nuggets were dealt a huge blow on Tuesday afternoon after it was revealed that All-Star forward Paul Millsap needed to undergo surgery on his left wrist that will keep him out of the lineup for the next two to three months.

It has immediately shifted to the Nuggets looking internally to their other players to help fill the void left by Millsap. One of which could be third-year forward Trey Lyles, who recently voiced that he could step up in an increased role with the 32-year-old out for the next several weeks.
