"Rockets forward and Seattle native Terrence Williams had about 20 friends and family members at Tuesday's game against the Blazers, the Rockets' last this season in the Pacific Northwest. But there were no extra nerves for the occasion; those came last week.

When Williams moved into the Rockets' regular rotation for the first time since he was traded to Houston from the Nets on Dec. 15, he went against the team that dealt him. But Williams said he was extra keyed up because he had not played in so long, an issue he said he's put behind him.

"The first game I felt a little rushed, like happy to be back out there and trying to do everything at once," Williams said. "The second game, I felt I took my time more, played basketball and tried to get assists and rebounds. I'm just trying in the time I am given to be productive so I can go from seven minutes to 10 minutes to 20 minutes.

"That first game I felt I wasn't playing my game. The second game I felt more under control. It felt good. I told myself before the game in New Orleans, 'Just be patient. Don't rush things.' I think I calmed down. I think the timing is definitely back.""
