"Ed Perry, the attorney for Cincinnati Bengal Adam Jones, filed a written plea of not guilty for his client Monday, more than a week after Jones' arrest.

Jones, who wasn't in court, is charged with two misdemeanors, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, stemming from a July 10 incident.

Jones, 27, was at a Downtown bar celebrating his wife's birthday, his agent said, when police said Jones shouted profanities and tensed his arms as they tried to handcuff him."
