"For the first time in his four NFL seasons, Jake Long missed Sunday's game with a back injury.

Long, the Dolphins' Pro Bowl left tackle and the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2008, was replaced in the lineup by second-year man John Jerry.

That decision ended Long's consecutive-games streak at 62, including a playoff outing as a rookie.
