"To get full value for that ticket, show up early and watch Broncos tailback Knowshon Moreno in pregame warm-ups.
He struts. He sprints through the opposing team's stretch. He glares. He nods excessively. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
It's one thing for a defensive player such as Broncos safety Brian Dawkins or former linebacker Al Wilson to become a pregame psycho.
It's rare when an offensive player, particularly a running back, becomes so emotionally charged.
"That's normal for me," Moreno said. "Every game is the same. I'm just excited to be back out there. I like to try to fire guys up. Try to help out the team, basically."
After missing the previous three games because of a strained right hamstring, Moreno got off to a poor start against the New York Jets on Sunday, fumbling the ball away after a 13-yard gain on his first carry and jumping to a false start on the first play of the next possession.
Was Moreno a little too amped up?
"There's no such thing," he said, smiling.
It may be worth noting Moreno was temporarily benched after his false start, which was a mental mistake, and not after his fumble, a physical error.
Once he settled down, Moreno again showed he's the Broncos' best tailback, rushing for 48 yards on 12 carries.
"Each guy has their own way of getting ready for the game," Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said. "He's done that, and he's played very well in the beginning of games too. We're focused on having all of our players ready to go and play better earlier in the game. It's something we need to address as a team, not just an individual."
The Broncos have scored seven points in the first quarter this year. That's six games' worth of first quarters. And seven points. Their best quarter is the second, with 47 points."
