"A magnetic resonance imaging test today should reveal the damage, but Joseph Addai didn't need a scan to know something was wrong.

Late in the first quarter, the Indianapolis Colts' veteran running back headed around the left side. Before the Kansas City Chiefs defense could converge, Addai seemed to pull up slightly.

He had injured his right hamstring. He pumped his fists in disgust.

"Sometimes you feel it tear," Addai said as he exited the locker room following the Colts' 28-24 loss Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. "This was a little grab.
