There is good news and bad news on the injury front for the Buccaneers who released their first official injury report with the familiar “Probable” “Questionable” and “Doubtful” designations.

The good news to be found on this report is that All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis is listed as probably and continues to be a full participant in practices. I am sure the Buccaneers will not reveal the plans for Darrelle until the day of the game but his probable designation and continued participation in practice signal positive progress in the final stages of his rehabilitation.

The bad news comes in the form of the “out” designation for likely starter Tom Crabtree and obvious starter and impact player Carl Nicks. The Buccaneers have other tight ends who will rotate in for Crabtree but the replacement for Nicks isn’t so obvious.
