"Upon further review ... NFL Network is not reporting that Steve Spagnuolo's return to the Eagles is a done deal.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora appeared to report Tuesday morning that Spagnuolo, fired last week after three years as head coach of the Rams, was set to rejoin Andy Reid's coaching staff, perhaps as defensive coordinator and perhaps in another role working alongside Juan Castillo.

"Spagnuolo, let go by the St. Louis Rams last week, is expected to be back in Philadelphia by the end of the week," La Canfora wrote."
