"Now that the season is over, there are two questions that must be answered before the Eagles can begin thinking about re-signing DeSean Jackson or signing or drafting anyone else:

Should Andy Reid return as head coach?

And should Juan Castillo return as defensive coordinator?

Naturally, after Sunday's win over Washington, Reid didn't want to discuss whether he thought he'd return for a 14th season.

"For all of those kinds of questions, I have no answers for you on all of that," he said. "I haven't thought about all of that, and I'm not going to start right now. I'm going to enjoy this win and the New Year."

If it were up tight end Brent Celek, Reid would return.

"I think that Andy is going to be back. I think he should be back," Celek said. "The guy's an amazing coach. I just think it's tough when you don't have an off-season and you've got a lot of new guys. Football is a team sport. You have to come together as a team, and I really feel like we've done that now, in the second half of the season. We've just got to keep it going into next year.

"I think Coach Reid is a great coach. I want him to be here. I think he needs to be here in order for us to win this thing. He's got my full support."

Castillo's situation seems a little shakier. Or is it? The Eagles entered Sunday ranked eighth in yards allowed. Yeah, they blew too many leads, but not recently.

"I don't think Juan should even be judged on the last four games," defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins said. "He put us in position to win these last four games, and he put us in position to win all the other games, we just didn't make the plays early in the season to win those games. The last four games, we did.""
