The striker moved to the Liberty Stadium on a season-long loan deal on deadline day and is now hoping to impress in the Premier League after catching the eye at Euro 2013

Swansea City newcomer Alvaro Vazquez is eager to make his mark in the Premier League after joining from Getafe on Monday.

The Spanish striker who joined on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent move sealed the switch late on deadline day to become Michael Laudrup's ninth signing of the window.

Vazquez impressed while on Under-21 European Championships with Spain and is hoping to do even better at the Liberty Stadium this season as he prepares for his first spell in the English top flight.

"This is a really good opportunity and I will try to make the most of it this season" he told the club's official website.
