Corey Maggette sure sounded like a guy that expects Ben Wallace to return for his 17th season.

The Pistons' newest acquisition went back and forth between the present tense and past tense Tuesday when talking about Wallace, who is contemplating retirement.

When asked his impressions of the Pistons, Maggette said: "With the players that we have now, we have a lot of young talent on this team starting from Brandon (Knight) to Greg (Monroe) and veteran guys like (Ben Wallace), if he continues to come back and play, and (Tayshaun) Prince and (Rodney) Stuckey. Just to be able to contribute anyway I can. A big asset of mine is being able to get to the foul line for this team."
