"The New Orleans Saints apparently have waived defensive tackle Mitch King, according to an item on the internet web site Scout.com. King has appeared in all three of the Saints regular season games and had three tackles.

King, 6 foot 1, 280 pounds, is in his second season. He appeared in four games with the Indianapolis Colts last season and spent time on the practice squads of the Tennessee Titans and St. Louis Rams. He played collegiately at Iowa."
