"After missing the last three games with a sore left knee, New Orleans Hornets point guard Jarrett Jack could be closer to returning to the starting lineup, Coach Monty Williams said Tuesday.
Williams said Jack participated in the team's practice session Tuesday at the Alario Center and seemed to be moving well. The Hornets host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night in New Orleans Arena, featuring arguably the league's best point guard and reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose.
"He had a good workout today and we'll see how he feels (Wednesday)," Williams said of Jack. "We certainly need him. I'm playing (backup) Greivis (Vasquez) way too many minutes for my liking. I think from this point forward, he and Jack can pretty much split minutes.""
