The Detroit Lions haven't had to look for a new starting kicker since the first Bush administration. After 42-year-old Jason Hanson called it quits on a 21-year career earlier this week, the team quickly signed veteran David Akers as an option to replace him in 2013.

But he's not the only option. Meet 28-year-old Norwegian Havard Rugland, who is perhaps better known by his YouTube handle, "Kickalicious." The left-footed kicker's amazing trick shot video has almost three million hits and basically details all of the ridiculous places you could possibly imagine to kick a football in Norway.

The Lions didn't disclose terms of Rugland's contract, but his presence should certainly make for some fun training camp moments at Allen Park.

Rugland worked out for the Lions last month, which led to head coach Jim Schwartz being quizzed at the owners meetings how he found about about the prospect.
