Los Angeles Lakers assistant general manager Glenn Carraro resigned Thursday, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. Lakers Nation's Serena Winters confirmed the news.

Carraro had been with the Lakers since 2000 and was promoted to assistant general manager in May 2012.

According to NBA scribe Nate Duncan, Carraro played an integral role in the Lakers' front office as one of the team's primary salary cap consultants.
