We all knew the Utah Jazz was shopping fourth-year guard Rodney Hood. But few people saw this many teams interested in getting him. According to Tony Jones from the Salt Lake Tribune, “In all, as many as 15 teams have called the Jazz concerning shooting guard Rodney Hood.” Jones had previously reported that Hood is the most likely Jazz player to be moved. Utah is looking for at least a first-round pick in exchange for the 25-year old.

With so much interest in Hood, the Jazz are looking to maximize the return for him. The team hit a home run in last year’s draft with Rookie of the Year frontrunner Donovan Mitchell and has backup shooting guard Alec Burks, so trading Hood away will not immediately leave the Jazz with a big void to fill.
