"Blockbuster TV deals and a new collective bargaining agreement lifted the value of the average NBA team to record heights, and only one team experienced an increase as large as the Warriors, according to Forbes' annual "The Business of Basketball" report.
The Warriors netted a new TV agreement with Comcast SportsNet that boosted the overall value of the franchise to $450 million, a 24 percent increase over last year. The leap is larger than any team except the Lakers, who used a $200 million annual deal with Time Warner Cable to bump the franchise value 40 percent, to $900 million."
