Are the Maple Leafs shopping Nazem Kadri on the trade market?
A report out of the New York Post and Sportsnet suggested that the Leafs would be open to trade offers for the struggling centre.
“Boy oh boy, would the Maple Leafs love to find a taker for Nazem Kadri,” read a report in the Post on Sunday.

Nick Kypreos of Sportsnet tweeted on Monday that two NHL clubs reported that the 23-year-old Kadri is available in trade discussions.
Kadri has 11 goals and 12 assists in 37 games this season, playing on the second line this season with Mason Raymond and Joffrey Lupul, and at times have played on the top line because of injuries.

“We were taken to task about why we were playing him on the third line last year because he had all these points,” Leafs coach Randy Carlyle told reporters Monday.

“If you look statistically this year, he’s not far off of what he had the same time last year in the same number of games.”
