Nats' Zimmerman, Pudge to miss time with leg ailments

"The Washington Nationals couldn't catch a break Tuesday night. Neither could the fans hoping to see them bring their A team to play the New York Mets.

All-Star third baseman Ryan Zimmerman and future Hall of Fame catcher Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez both were scratched from the lineup a couple of hours before first pitch with minor leg injuries.

Zimmerman reported a groin injury that figures to sideline him at least four days, manager Jim Riggleman said.

Rodriguez injured a calf earlier in the afternoon, and figures to be shut down for at least "a couple of days," Riggleman said. Pudge was working out at the Mets' Digital Domain Park by himself before either team took batting practice and, said Riggleman, "felt a little something in his calf.""
